  I shop almost exclusively at the publix near my house in mooresville north Carolina, but I would NEVER go back to this publix in lighthouse point. I ordered a Mediterranean hummus veggie wrap off of the menu board and the man behind the counter looked at me like I had three eyes. "What??" He asked. So I repeated myself. He continued to stare blankly. So I repeated myself again and pointed to the sign. Then the man left to confer with the other employees. When none of them knew what the item I asked for was (even though it was plainly displayed on the menu) the other employees found a laminated instruction card to help him make my meal. This would've solved the problem if he was capable of reading. (I'm not joking. I felt kinda bad for him) but still he asked the others to help. Then he gave up and started picking out items to put on the wrap that seemed to match the pictures. ... I guess they looked similar but mustard is not hummus And grated cheese is not feta cheese. .... "Mediterranean hummus". Yup not even close. Anyway. I took it in silence because he couldn't understand English well enough too begin with. Then I waited another 10 minutes for another employee to finish making my grandfather's 2 little sandwiches. Then while my grandfather waited in the ONLY OPEN check out line to pay for his sandwiches for another 5 to 10 minutes I waited in the customer service line to hand them my wrap and tell someone my story but my grandfather finished up checking out and I STILL HADN'T BEEN HELPED at the service desk. Finally a woman came to me and said the it would be 5 more minutes so I left the wrap on the counter and left hungry. Screw it. I'm done.

  You would think on a saturday at 12:30pm, they would maybe have some fried chicken ready..not one box!
